Meet The Dentist In Sarasota, FL

Dr. Mitchell Strumpf

Dr. Mitchell Strumpf is a native Floridian and has practiced general dentistry in the Sarasota area for many years. After receiving his undergraduate degree at Emory University, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland Dental School. He then served as a dentist in the USAF at Carswell AFB, Texas before entering private practice in Sarasota.

While his focus has always been comprehensive dental care for his patients, Dr. Strumpf has immersed himself in continuing education throughout his career to provide the latest advancements dentistry has to offer. He has held memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the America Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is currently a Life Member of the American and Florida Dental Associations.

With a focus on individualized treatment plans and patient-centered communication, Dr. Strumpf’s patients have benefited from overall oral health, reconstructive, and dental cosmetic procedures. He has lectured internationally, consulted, and mentored other dentists, co-developed a bacterial test for Halitosis and served as a consultant to ABC’s 20/20.

In addition to his volunteer work, he and his wife Linda have served on various local boards to help the community. The Strumpfs are the proud parents of three married daughters who along with their spouses have blessed them with seven outstanding grandchildren. Free time is often spent on the golf course and visiting family.
